The Confucius Institute at the ҕl (CIҕl) supports schools and communities through its Mandarin Language Aides (MLA) Programme and a range of cultural activities. The MLA Programme places native Mandarin speakers in classrooms to enrich language learning and share authentic cultural insights, while CIҕl’s cultural initiatives bring Chinese traditions to life through interactive events and workshops. Together, these efforts foster deeper cross-cultural understanding and engagement across the South Island.
