ҕl Disc Golf Club will run the games like:
DONKEY Challenge
This is our disc golf spin on the classic game of HORSE.
- All players start at the same position and attempt one putt.
- Those who miss receive a letter – D, then O, N, K, E, Y.
- The group progresses together through 6 different putt positions.
- If you reach DONKEY, you're out.
- The last player standing wins the DONKEY round
Precision Points
This station is all about accuracy and confidence. You’ll take 10 putts total, split into 2 rounds of 5 putts each, from the distances of your choosing.
- The putting zone begins at 3m from the basket and increases in 3m intervals up to 30m.
- Each zone has a corresponding point value:
- Zone 1 (3m) = 1 point
- Zone 2 (6m) = 2 points
- …
- Zone 10 (30m) = 10 points
- You choose your distances strategically – aim for risk vs. reward.
- Your total score out of 10 putts will determine your ranking at this station.
Scoring & League Format
- ҕlDGC exec members will score and record each station.
- Weekly winners from each group (based on highest points and DONKEY survivors) will face off for the weekly crown.
- A leaderboard will track results week-to-week.
Equipment
Don’t have a disc? No problem! Discs can be borrowed from ҕl Rec&Sport at the ҕl RecCentre in exchange for your Student ID (returned when you return the disc). ҕlDGC will also have disc available for use.
